The problem is Congress has not passed a law currently in effect to do so. That's their mandate from the Amendment.
18 U.S. Code § 2383 - "Rebellion or Insurrection" says you are wrong. It was discussed in court today.

18 U.S. Code § 2383 - "Rebellion or Insurrection"

Was written under the authority of the 14A? I thought it was just ICC with almost all of the other criminal laws in the US Code

I believe Republicans (or a Republican group) are literally named plaintiffs in the suit.
The Lincoln Project is chuck-full of leftists posing as "Republicans." What is your point? e.g., Joe Scarborough, a neo-liberal buffoon, claimed to be Republican even after Trump was elected.

Frustration sex.

Explain the application of "TDS" to this:

Hey dumbass, do you think it’s a secret here that you despise Trump and that emotion drives you to defend all things anti-Trump?

Do you think bringing this to the Supreme Court has any merit under the constitution.

I don't know where else it would go. There is only one option for review of a State Supreme Court decision, and its SCOTUS.

Do you believe what Colorado is trying to do is politically motivated by the opposition party of that state?

I thought the original Plaintiffs are self-styled Republicans? Though these days the never-Trump wing of the GOP may as well be the opposition party.

No. I don't think 14A applies to the President and that's how they'll rule as the majority.

Yea, but you tried to elaborate on some of the more nuanced legal mechanics at play on a political discussion board, so frick you.

So you can't explain the application of "TDS" to that statement?

You forgot to include "TDS" and "YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?" in there.

Ana Navarro, Jennifer Rubin, Max Boot, Bill Kristol… shite even Tex claimed he votes Republican. Juice, ASURob, Hank… I could go on forever.

Very few here have the balls to admit they are hardline leftists.

It’s a culture they’ve created and a big part of the reason all of SFPs bullshite is met with such skepticism here.

SFP isn't one of them, but the problem is that Trump created a whole new group of that despises him this election cycle: Actual conservatives.

He said he "didn't give a damn" but it was a massive error to act in the way he did.

SFP is more in line with Krystol and those idiots though.

This board's general definition of what qualifies as a hardline leftist has gotten broader over the last 5-10 years while what constitutes as a conservative/republican is as narrow as ever.

No. Engaging in hostilities against the U.S. or conspiring to overthrow the government in the US code long predated the 14th A. Disqualification for office was added by the 14thA, and subsequently incorporated into 18 U.S. Code § 2383. You know that.

On a side note, the DNC and those in charge on the left have to be pissed as frick at CO Sp Crt. Handed Trump an incredibly easy victory that literally anyone could see coming.

the only positive for them is that it forced Trump and the RNC to spend even more money.

You do not speak for all actual conservatives. I feel most actual conservatives will still vote for Trump and not melt away like yourself.
