If the song is about lifting every voice why is it called the black national anthem?

I just do not get it. The Star Spangled Banner is very inclusive. Please tell me it will remain the National Anthem!!

I'm fine with segregation as long as its by choice.

Unfortunately leftists only believe segregation is good unilaterally.

hmmm.. more down votes than upvotes. Take this as a early warning message. Prepare for the worst... because the worst is coming. Trump, Desantis etc. can not and will not right this ship. No man can right this ship any longer. The worst is coming and prepare... body and SOUL.

Yes, it is the song that will be sung at the Super Bowl and the networks call it The Black National anthem.

They (the media) love to stir the pot.

I have no problem with them having their own anthem.

But they'll have to accept the fact that the National Anthem is now no longer their anthem.

That's a fair deal.

Surprised to read that every voice matters.

Progress.

Well, progress over the last several years when Barack Obama started us down the path of divisive rhetoric from the highest office, even though rap music and ghetto culture also served to erode the progress that was made.

Nothing screams unity like having a separate national anthem.

Can white Southerners have Dixie played before the game?

So did Abraham Lincoln. He had it played at his inauguration.
