CNN's latest on Flynn is titled "Senate intel digs for more Michael Flynn documents."
Also: The CIA Briefed Michael Flynn Despite Russia Blackmail Concerns:
This says they never really thought that there were any real concerns Russia would blackmail him.
It is a complete nothing burger. Mike Flynn has held a security clearance longer than most of the kiddies posting here have been alive.
What do ya'll think about Flynn?
What is it exactly he is accused of?
Other than not wanting more muh Russians; so he didn't say the Russian Ambassador asked about sanctions. He turned in their documents.

Do not care for the fact that Mike Pence lied to the American public based on what Flynn said did not happen but which did in fact happen. Makes the Vice President of the United States look bad.

yeah, I still want to know what the Russians were supposedly going to blackmail him with. Was there a secret, anonymous chain e-mail that accused him of getting Russian hookers to pee on him?

i'm confused. you could say that he was misinformed and spoke on that, but to say he lied based on what Flynn said did not happen but did in fact happened is in fact... a lie?

He attended a meeting where Jared Kushner tried to set up a method for creating back-channel communication with the Russian government in a Russian embassy with Russian equipment so he could avoid American intelligence monitoring.

I don't think it was illegal to do consulting work for Turkey, but it's definitely illegal to fail to disclose it.
Apparently Flynn asked the Obama administration to hold off on arming the Kurds. Who knows if this was at the behest of the Turks, but his paid work for the Turks (who didn't want the U.S. to arm them) wasn't disclosed. This could've affected the war against ISIS. Not good.

I just want to know what makes Flynn so special to Trumpkins. He played Whack A Mole in Iraq and then had a ho hum tenure in the dumpster fire that is the DIA. His understanding of the terrorism problem, according to his interviews and quotes, does not appear strategic and his actions as military leader did not illustrate any significant departures from the status quo, which isn't working.

I don't know. Flynn probably connected to a trump associate, got recommended, had a flashy looking resume, and trump picks him. Big win, looks good for Trump. Flynn then gets canned for being stupid. Trump doesn't want him shat on because that would reflect poorly on Trump.

Flynn spoke out about Obama and CAIR--ordering non offensive stuff to terrorists in military training manuals. As well as Flynn bucked Obama's weak terror stance and outright appeasement.
Obama fires Flynn. Trump wanted him because of this. It is as simple as that.
Your critique of Flynn as average Pentagon mouthpiece Joe may be warranted; but the man served honorably and I highly doubt is a KGB agent, or in line to be one.

The SC will likely be asking Flynn what the President knew about his actions and plans and when he knew them, even if he directed them. Knowledge of this may be making Trump a bit nervous.
