I firmly believe the Democrats have a huge problem that it seems no one talks about.
Namely, that until the social media explosion, Democrats could count on the media to basically hide just how loony a SUBSTANTIAL portion of their voter base was.
They OPENLY catered to these loons, but, no one ever talked about what these loons really think.
Meanwhile, every half wit with a conservative angle was paraded on the news as if he was common.
Social Media has fricked that up cause now, the loons have a platform. And EVERYONE sees it. EVERYONE now sees, "holy frick, it's not just weirdos I don't know..........it's my supposed friends........my co-workers, my neighbors".
Social media isn't helping conservatives because conservatives can get their message out.
It's helping conservatives because rank and file liberals can get THEIRS out.

You are 100% correct. I could not possibly agree more. That's why I've been saying that we should agitate the agitators with our normalcy. Light the fuse and then walk away while they unravel and vomit their insanity for all to see. Just say something completely normal and watch them lose their shite.

Been doing exactly this for at last a few years.
I've actually watched as people that I know used to be mostly Democratic voters have become disgusted by the nuts so much, they called it a day.

In the sense that they refuse, or can't, critique their side objectively, I agree.
The difference, though, is in degree. The left is way more unhinged and authoritarian in its actions.
