Let’s suppose that a nuke takes out an American city in the wake of the saber rattlings…

Will financially crippling this country to fund Ukraine’s war with Russia in lieu of brokering a peace deal be worth it?

I ask this knowing full well it would almost certainly never end at just one city, unless we have some super amazing missile defense system we aren’t aware exists just yet, but considering we won’t be around to Monday morning quarterback the whole thing, I thought it would be interesting to gauge how much Ukraine weighs in comparison now rather than later.

I dont disagree with your general premise.

But if you think 50 or even 200 billion to ukraine is what has financially crippled this country then you might need to do some more searching cause you lost the thread.

You won’t have to worry about it coming from Ukraine money.

The nuke will come through Barry ButtO’s Iranian money, through the open border of FJB.

You’re right, but it certainly has not helped matters printing more money and driving the dollar into the garbage even further. It’s funny though how almost a quarter trillion of this country’s tax payer dollars is laughed off, not just in the amount, but in the fact that it’s our money entrusted to our government to provide for our infrastructure and needs rather than Ukraines.

BUT be that as it is. This country’s NUTS and keeps on taking it because I suppose it’s conditioned to take it now.

The initial question still stands. Will losing an American city be worth supporting Ukraine in lieu of brokering a peace deal instead?

I love that I moved out to the middle of the desert which also happens to be a top target city

If it's only DC, then yes.

That's also ignoring that most of the aid isn't in actual dollars but an accounting of all the equipment we're sending over that was sitting idle and/or mothballed anyway.

We're shipping older gen tech over to expose Russia's military as weak and at the same time backfilling our arsenal with new shite. Money that will mostly stay within the borders of this country. Sure, it's to the military industrial complex and some of that money will be skimmed and grifted but most of it will go to American citizens working for those companies and their suppliers that produce our military equipment.

What makes you think the US is capable of brokering a peace treaty?

That's like asking, "Would losing an American city be worth supporting Ukraine instead of just creating a unicorn that shits Skittles and sending her out to enthrall all of the soldiers and stop the fighting?"

If the city is DC there's no price too high.

They don’t need nukes, they are sending migrants to do their work in the cities

Of course not. I also don't think Russia would be foolish enough to do something like that.
The more likely scenario is sneaking a dirty bomb or EMP over.
Put an EMP in a weather balloon and knock circuits out across an entire area or state would be tremendously destructive. I don't think one drifting over like the Chinese balloon would work because they would scan that see the radioactivity hopefully and knock it down early.

If one nuke is ever launched, the world is over and I just hope the first one lands on the city I’m in without any prior notice.
