Let's say POTUS Trump gets some across the board tax cuts that effect you and your (personal or business).
Will you take advantage of said lower rates?
If so, why?
If not, will you direct whomever prepares your returns to not take part in any Trump tax cuts and to pay your old tax rate without the benefit of any deducions and or expemptions taken?
Curious, as it struck me that the left, while they're diametrically opposed to Republican ideals of freedom of the individual and/or economic policies that they themselves may benefit they all will take advantage of policies they are opposed to.
Please if you feel so strongly about this issue by all means put your money where your mouth is and come tax time send in more than is required.
The IRS WILL ACCEPT CHECKS OVER THE AMOUNT REQUIRED.

I have always wondered this, too. If they felt so strongly about it, by all means pay above and beyond.

quote:I have felt this way for a long time. Make a line for a "voluntary extra payment," on the 1040. If you want to give more money for the rest of to use, be it $5 or $50,000, you should be able to do it. Don't raise taxes on all of us, but if you think your taxes are too low, go right ahead and pay more. I have a real strange feeling that these same folks who want to raise taxes on everyone would be leaving that line blank.

Lower tax rates are racist, homophobic, and misogynistic. /liberalmelt
