LoS prides itself on being the so-called “most offensive podcast in the world” or something to that effect. They record weekly at a Queens comedy venue called The Creek and the Cave. LoS booked Milo as a guest, and the Creek received backlash, so they asked LoS to re-book or re-locate.
Creek released a statement LINK / in which the owner claimed not to know who Milo is until recently. That’s laughable; every person in the nyc comedy community knows who Milo is.
My educated guess (I know some of the people involved here) is that the Creek received some sort of threat (antifa perhaps) that made it clear that they’d need at least heightened security for this show, and that’s why they chose not allow Milo around. It also explains why the owner pretends not to know who Milo is. Aside from the likely threat, there’s of course the standard SJW backlash to all this, so the owner has to placate the clientele.
I’m sure there’ll be some sort of town hall for the victims of the almost Milo show, and I hope it’s uploaded on YouTube so i can laugh at it.
