The LC city limits are ridiculous. Literally all over the place. There are neighborhoods pretty far south of town in the limits and densely populated ones closer to town that aren't. It has been brought up for years and still looks that way.

South lake Charles city limits ends at the post office to the south and before Cormies to the west... thousands of people that should have been incorporated years ago.

Looks like Hunter is going to win... a certain demo is already claiming racism... Carter himself already said it

It is even more ridiculous. There's a neighborhood next to that Albertson's on Country Club that isn't. The neighborhoods off Lisle Peters (at least some of them) past Cormie's are. One side of Ham Reid is, one isn't. Like wtf.

Carter pushed super hard for early voting and it was a concern that he could get a push....and Nic won that 64/36

what does this mean? black people went to early vote...and voted for Nic Hunter

Carter didn't even beat AB Franklin a few years ago

oh, and once of the city council races was decided by literally a vote

I looked at it when it was in the 90s precinct percentage in and the other candidate was up by a decent amount... then the other candidate had won with that one vote. Talk about a kick in the nuts.

Is Nic the youngest mayor in state history? Will the lake front changes be his "icetown" or will he do some great things?
