L.A. Citizens Speak Out Against Illegal immigration at City Council Meeting (Video)

Good for them. I didn't have time to watch all of it, but they were giving the L.A. City Council an earful.
Question - L.A. isn't already officially considered to be a sanctuary city? Seemed like they said that was the official matter up for discussion.

PS - It was a little before my time, but I'm pretty sure one of those city council members was a child actor on TV (The things you learn on MeTV). I've seen her on an old show called Dobie Gillis. She grew up to be a radical lesbian, but whatever. She's wrong about ILLEGAL immigration.

Not before my time, unfortunately.
Character name was Zelda. She wrinkled her nose a lot and Dobie always told her "Now, cut that out!"
eta: pressed submit too soon. I hope a lot more people in "sanctuary" cities wake up and smell the coffee.

Awesome, so refreshing to see minorities speaking out for common sense

Not everyone out here is a crazy leftist. There's millions of us who are conservative and/or moderates.

These stories you will never hear about in the MSM.

Encouraging collection of Americans speaking out. I'll be very interested to see this play out going forward. When is enough too much? Is The pendulum changing?

I thought it was interesting that the homeless woman was named "Camper."

I didn't realize L.A. wasn't a sanctuary city. I just assumed California was a sanctuary state.

of course not, Cali is a huge state with a large & diverse population
hell, there are pockets of radical leftists in Alabama, mostly n the Bham metro area where I live, so this should surprise no one
here is what I find interesting & encouraging - those of us on the right have been upset about the blatant hypocrisy of the left for a long time (and justifiably so). One of the biggest complaints is that many leftists scream about "tolerance & acceptance"; yet, they work hard to silence the voices of those that disagree with them
the fact that these people were given a forum and were able to voice their opinions in Los Angeles is pretty awesome
I have to say that I do have respect for the board for hearing these people and for insisting that they be given a voice
the "good people" of Berkeley should be taking notes
