I think it's probably bullshite but if the kids are adults or older teenagers, I can envision a scenario where this could happen in my house where someone makes a tentacle porn joke and my wife asks "What is that?" and we end up googling to show it is a thing.
I'd screen the results first, though because I don't really know what it is. I know it's a thing but don't know what it is.
If he is lying on Twitter, he is gonna have to deal with that at home tonight.

If you google it, you can read the Wikipedia page about it without having to actually watch it.
He was on some obscure website that isn't easily found with a google search.
That tells me he wasn't just doing a quick search to explain what it is. He was deep in the world of tentacle porn.

That's what I assumed (I didn't really want to go down that rabbit hole myself). It is obscure enough that I can believe that people have never heard of it before. But not so obscure that you'd have to dig through dozens of websites to find it.
