Right. The far left actually thinks it means something. They are out of touch with reality.

What does congressional pay have to do with what a private business chooses to pay their employees?

Playing devil's advocate, is there a difference between a singular person attempting to influence elections and a group backed by donations?

As long as big money rules the election process right and left, things are out of whack. Back at the wage issue. The gov mandates a minimum wage. They won't raise it because businesses cry there is no money and would have to lay people off. But... the same business give out millions in bonuses to the corp elite. Wall street pisses on Main street

bullshite. There is something between anarchy and a full out centralized government. But nice try at the reductio fallacy.

Hypocrisy is saying they can't raise the minimum raise by giving Congress a raise and allowing massive bonuses on Wall Street.
For it to be hypocricy you'd have to compare similar things. Being allowed to earn your own money that is freely offered as compensation is not the same as being forced to unwillingly pay an arbitrarily set amount.

Try again

So eliminate the minimum wage?

Big money isn't the sole reason things are "out of whack."

how does congress allow wall street bonuses???

Congress has, in fact, allowed recent wall street bonuses by stepping in and bailing out the large banks and brokerages during the recent crisis. But for that, many would have failed and others still would be in much worse financial shape right now, resulting in LOWER BONUSES.

Although the path is not quite linear to get from beginning to end, I think the sentiment holds up.

But yeah, hypocrisy on both sides is ridiculous.

Yep. But easy enough for any half-wit to follow. You may need assistance.

Yes because the Koch's $400,000,000.00 spent is equivalent to Soros' $5.5 million in terms of buying elections and candidates.

You're ignorant or naive to think Soro's is only spending 5.5 million dollars on his "causes".

I'm 90% sure it's the former.
