Probably Corker or Haass

Haas and Corker are our best Secretary of State options? Excuse me while I go vomit.

And Rudy... Rudy is not a diplomat. He's a prosecutor. Put him in charge of Homeland Security.

Mitt is so much better than the diminutive Corker, the people-pleasing Haas or the blowhard Rudy.

All the downvotes yet no responses, let me explain...

Good god. If Trump governs this way, we are in trouble.

I don't want Trump to be influenced by the likes of Newt or Huckster and I prefer he and his peeps don't take to twitter to explain possible positions.

Now Trump's Youtube chats are fantastic.

quote:

Newt and Huckster are far worse than Romney in any role. Two assclowns that need to go away.

Newt is smart and can out-debate anybody, but he is ethically and morally a pos. On the issues he was great in the early 90's, but:

For Obamacare and single payer before Obama was. Fact! Since has changed his mind.
For bailouts before he changed his mind
And a paid lobbyist for Freddie.

Huckster was one of the most liberal conservative governors ever. Raised taxes, increased spending, pro illegal alien education subsidies and pardoned more criminals than the 5 states surrounding him combined.

I suggest my fellow conservatives quit being smitten by soundbites and look at their record and rhetoric.

I prefer to let Trump pick his people w/o those two phony conservatives ripping him over any possible pick.

Mitt's "diplomacy" and skills were demonstrable in part during the election, unfortunately. I'd not object to Romney, and I think he'd do a good job. But he STB early on vs Jeb and donors, then later vs Trump. Bad decisions, based on bad information, and bad resources. The same was true of his 2012 campaign.

At least Trump has supporters who attended his rallies by the thousands without having to hire celebrities to get them to come to his rallies like Loser Clinton had to do.

It helped get him elected didn't it? You still haven't woken up from your nightmare yet it seems. Get someone to pinch you. It'll help.

I voted for him. Every time I get a response like this is just further verifies the truth about some of you guys. It's not support you care about. It's not the country, or policy, or a new start.

It's absolute, unyielding, unquestioning loyalty to another human being.
