I’m not very knowledgeable in guns but I do want a good automatic rifle in case shite goes down and I have to protect my property.

Smith & Wesson MP15 Sport II AR-15 with Crimson Trace Red / Green Dot Optic SW AR 5.56 .223
It was just over $800. It's basically an entry level AR-15. Got it from a gun dealer in Minnesota of all places.
