Fear, sarcasm and ridicule are the three weapons of an USAF instructor. If you can't handle an IP yelling at you while you're just getting a plane from point A to point B, you probably don't need to fly a plane under pressure.

BTW that student gave the IP a nametag at his retirement it was O-F-F

Old memories coming back. When I was taking my IFR checkride when I was 19, my examiner was bitching about where the airworthiness certificate was located on the airplane while I was on short final into Bham. At the moment, I thought he was just a general a-hole, but I realize he was just trying to distract.

Geez say what you want about Rex, his threads always deliver. Two longest threads on first page (minus sticky) by a good amount. He really knows how to get you guys riled up.

My favorite steak is always a filet, medium rare with grilled asparagus and a nice salted and roasted baked potato with the fixins and sweet tea to wash it all down.

Tip here: always reheat meat leftovers on the stove with a dash of butter. It'll taste like its right off the grill again.
