You guys may have discussed it, so bear with me if I've missed the conversation, but do you guys have a better outlook on illegal immigration if the income tax were done away with and replaced with a flat tax?

I think we'd all have a better outlook on illegal immigration if the handouts were eliminated. Democrats wouldn't be buying votes in order to get control so they can destroy our country.

Isn't the flat still an income tax?

Yes, but no deductions at all.
Fair Tax abolishes income tax and replaces it with National Sales Tax. That's the short story.

Which is what I was getting at. If the country and states move to a national / state sales tax and all income taxes were abolished, would the outlook on immigration be curbed substantially? Or is the fear still more about lack of jobs?

As long as all the entitlement programs were slashed and they had no chance to vote in our elections you bet.
