I don't know. I'm conflicted.
On one hand I want an open and free internet.
On the other hand I want liberty and private property rights for private companies and individuals to do business as they please (without breaking the law).

It's a tough one, no doubt. With the recent rollbacks of internet privacy protections I just can't accept handing even more power over to the ISPs.

Kind of convenient that they waited until Amazon Prime Day was over with, huh?
Tells you all you need to know about their 'motivations', huh?
Its just 2 big industries fighting over the same slice of pie.

Moving to title 1 is not the answer though. I dont mind at all allowing the private companies to do business as private companies, but dont ALSO allow the private companies to censor the internet. I am just saying this is not the way.

This. And it's rather sad that quite a few of the libertarians on this board can't see that.

Forget net neutrality. More government regulation isn't the answer. We need to keep local governments from preventing ISPs from building or using the infrastructure required to increase competition.

And more local governments should get into the ISP business if the locals want it. I would like a local municipal option. I pay for municipal natural gas so why not municipal ISP (or just having that option). LINK

Well by God...this thread has started better than any of the other 100s of NN threads on this site.
Two bigger truths have never been spoken in regards to NN and utility regulations in general.
