My PE coach made us say “smear the guy with the ball”
Looking back I can’t believe they let us play that game during school.
I guess that was back when kids weren’t such puss

"Throwback" was a little more structured than smear the queer. The person that got tackled would throw the ball over his head to a group of people behind him. Whoever got the ball the ball would try to score while everyone who didn't get the ball would try to stop him. Same thing except throwback involved trying to score as opposed to randomly running around avoiding everyone....lol

Thanks for the explanation - throwback was evidently a game with an actual point to it. Never played that one that I recall.
