So? I think Obama could be a wimp here as well? Doesn't change that Trump is even worse

Except you said this

quote:

I wouldn't say that for any President since Nixon

There isn't anything wrong with taking your message to the people. This is how it was done for ages before presidents became too important to mix with the rabble. Truman had his whistle stop tours, FDR had his fireside chats. Hell jfk called television a media that could be "abused by demagogues, by appeals to emotion and prejudice and ignorance". Were they all wrong? Isn't Trump right to distrust the American media and favor this style of public mass comm?

I think your distaste for Trump has you assuming he's doing this to stroke his massive ego, but you are forgetting how he's been treated by the media and the undeniable success he's had taking his message directly to the people this way.

You really don't understand why he still keeps doing these rallies do you?

He's still engaging the base and talking to normal americans and making sure they are still fired up by the time reelection comes around. Call it up running up the score if you will.

Compare that with normal presidents who ignore their voters for 2-3 years until the next election comes around.

He should be commended for a sound political strategy like this.

Which ones specifically?

Like almost all of them? Even Trump's critics don't accuse him of being conservative. He's a completely different beast than we've seen in Washington before.

Answer the question. Which specific ones do you have issue with. Don't back down

President Donald Trump is way more conservative than President George W. Bush ever was.

I get this, but I think this is the secondary goal. The first goal is to keep him sane and going.

I honestly don't think Trump will run for a second term on his own free will if he isn't impeached before then. All indications show he hates the job, and I don't blame him.

I want specifics here Sentrius. I don't think that at all. I would grant it if Trump was against the Patriot Act, but he hasn't done crap on that.

It's not the ones I have issues with, just give me some issues in which he is conservative. Maybe Immigration (which it's fricking depressing this is a conservative issue), but that's the only thing I'm coming up with that is a conservative value.

Give me some issues and I'll follow up with you on it.

He's probably just licking his wounds and patching his ego from that devastating referendum on his presidency yesterday in Georgia. Oh wait.
