The fact this lawfare case was even brought before a court exemplifies the desperation in the Democrat party. Georgia State Administrative Law Judge Charles Beaudrot has rejected the challenge to Marjorie Taylor Greene after listening to legal arguments last week.

This was always the right decision. Elias and those guys were reaching pretty far and speciously with this one.

This is the Democratic Party trying to undermine free elections.

I always thought it was interesting when Elias left Perkins Coie to go out on his own. To me that meant he wanted to be even more radical and the firm wasn’t comfortable going along with him.
And then here we are a year or so later with MTG and Cawthorn on a pretty novel theory.

Judge laughed his arse off when the prosecutor played that clip of what was supposed to be her inciting Jan 6, but then she said “ when was that clip”, and it was like a year before Jan 6… she should sue them…..

It was never really about the law in the first place. the whole lawsuit was about taking away an elected seat because MUH Feelings.

He's the point man with Zuck Bucks that helped changed the rules in key counties to ballot harvest that swung the election to Biden. Without Democrat ballot harvesting Trump is our president right now.

I hope she goes "scorched earth" on the whole lot of them when she wins!!

Glad for the decisions - still won't vote for her in the primary. I voted against her two out of three times, primarily because she a carpet bagger from ATL. Now, it would be because she is ineffective for my part of Georgia.
They have a black, military, country boy (irrespective of race) who will go against her. I am afraid that he may have a chance against her because he does not come across as a radical; however, if elected, he will vote as Dems vote - right along with the party.

When Republicans take the House. Make her Chair of Intelligence or Judicial Committee. Watch left go nuts.

I agree to some extent. But I think this whole insurrection narrative, and the dramatic, superlative adjectives used to describe how awful it was, is a build up to strike Trump from the ‘24 ballot and the MTG case was a pre-season game.

yes this was the whole point. if a state rep can't run for office because of the "insurrection", it will give credence for the federal government to disqualify Trump from running.
the thing about this lawsuit is they weren't stating any laws at all. they just presented the court with a bunch of stupid quotes from randoms on twitter and out of context statements from MTG. it was all frivolous and quite frankly retarded.

Their strategy was “if you can’t beat them with facts, try to bedazzle them with bullshite.”

This isn't even true. She's from Milledgeville and grew up in rural Forsyth County an hr from Atlanta. Cumming was considered the sticks until 15 or so years ago.
You'd have more credence if you said you just don't like her because she's a nut job.
