I never heard of her before last night. Now I am checking out her music on youtube, and it's actually pretty good.
Marketing ploy? Most definitely. Did it work? Absolutely. People will be checking out her music, and I believe it is good enough to put her on the map.
Good for her, because she painted a proverbial target on her back for her industry mates. She came out in full support of POTUS MAGA in the middle of frothing demons ready to pounce on anyone who does just that. Her dress designer did the same, and I read he is an avid POTUS MAGA supporter.
They both have earned much respect from me.

Her music does not have the high quality production value of some better known singers. Maybe someone will take her on and work with her.

I love when the free market works like this. She saw an opening that everyone else had closed off and cashed in.
Ideally it is best if no one selling to the public shuts off half their audience for political reasons but if everyone is far left then being the only entertainer on the trump train is a way to make some bank.

Take late night for example; you have Fallon that plays it down the middle and everyone else is to the left of that. Colbert probably being the farthest left. If a true right wing late night host came along he or she would be number 1 with the quickness.

It's funny how the extreme right will buy crap that they think is All American. Certain artists like Joy Villa or Toby Keith will pander to the right and they'll gobble it up, despite the lack of artistry or talent.
