Awful idea. With the way Grenell is going this past 24 hours, keep him. He's unseated Odell Beckham Jr. as my first favorite homo.
Also, why not just play the game? Harvest the ballots on the R side since it is legal. I'll be the first to tell you that we need voter ID FWIW. But it is important enough to engage them at their own game and be better at it.

I suggested the same and got downvoted to hell.

if i'm going to lose. i want to lose honestly.
i accept the fact that if everybody in the country were forced to vote, dems would make a lot of gains. that's a simple fact.
but the inherent problems to the democratic base (urban youth that are apathetic, college students that talk a big game but don't do shite when it comes time to vote) stop that from ever happening. Democrats are trying to say "let us take care of that for you."

Need James Woods as Press Secretary......journos would be leaving in tears questioning their very existence

I'm all about it. Trump is the perfect person to lead that charge for the Rs

I've always felt that in the long run, people that do the right thing always come out on top. The problem is, in the interim, you can take a hell of a lot of losses. You have to find a way to minimize the damage in the mean time

Because the Democrats have too many of THEIR people entrenched in the right places.
Would never work.

Problem with having scruples and trying to use them is that people who don’t can clean your clock.
To reference an old British film, a high ranking officer went on the radio in the run up to WWII and their speech never got aired because they said they would rather fight honorably and lose to the Nazis than win by disreputable means.
Later in the film, a war games is held in which he gets his arse kicked through an opposition willing to play dirty, reinforcing the point.

That's just it. You aren't doing anything wrong. Nothing illegal about it. Just do it and wipe the floor with them. Then casually suggest voter ID laws.

Truman and LBJ never watched that movie.

Republicans - Rule of law > political victory
Democrats - Political victory >>>>> rule of law
Democrats - Political victory >>>>> rule of law

Because Republicans go to jail for pulling the same shite democrats do.
An overwhelming percentage of lawyers are democrats.

That^.
The "Long March Through the Institutions" has worked very well for the Communists and their army of useful idiots.

Apparently not.
1943 British films likely didn’t circulate much during Truman’s day. LBJ has no such excuse.

I've been trying to explain this to my libertarian cohorts for years when it comes to applying libertarian economic principles outside the borders of the United States, in international trade or in foreign relations. Libertarianism is meant for the United States and only the United States. Nationalism and economic protectionism is a requirement when interacting at the international level.
And wouldn't you know it? Here we are with China

This guy gets it! Beat that arse at their own game and have them push for voter ID...play the long game!

The Republican Establishment fight like the British during the Revolution, standing in pretty rows, adhering to the rules of "civilized" war......
They need to learn from Trump and DESTROY the scum that are trying to take our country.
