I'd rather see absolute employment figures (total employees) than the unemployment rate. In fact, I'd love to see an overlay of that metric on the graph above to see how it compares.

Um, the dollar is the global currency and we own those printing presses.
We've flooded money into the system. What we look at and call a "booming" stock market could just as easily be described right now as an "inflationary" stock market.
