Kneeling is now protest against Trump.
I’m sure this is some awesome 5d chess, reigniting a nearly dormant controversy to get his dumb diehards all fired up.
He’s furthering and participating in this outrage culture, not killing it off. It just makes everything less enjoyable.

Bringing up a controversy that, at best, was waning, and making it about whether or not people like you or not, is not "fighting back."
Trump isn't America, but now he's made it where people are going to protest his dumbassery and people like me are going to feel compelled to defend Trump alongside America - which is probably what Trump wants.
It's dumb. I don't want to live in perpetual outrage. The left does that enough for everyone.
