How is it no one pronounces this the same way? Some people in government don't even pronounce it the same way in the same sentence!
How can we defeat an enemy when we can't even figure out how to pronounce their name. This pet pieve has just peaked while watching Meet the Press. I had to vent.

Fox uses ISIS, MSNBC/CBS/NBC/CNN typically uses ISIL b/c Barry uses ISIL.

isol, Isol, or Isis just pick one. I am trying to follow conversations and it doesn't even sound like they are talking about the same people, especially when one person is using all three pronunciations in the same speech.
