It's a good thing land doesn't vote; people do.
It's a good thing the framers of our constitution set up the country as a republic and not a democracy, realizing that large urban centers could overwhelm the rights of all other regions of the country, therefore establishing the electoral college.

Said electoral system is still based on population with a slight control for land (all states getting two electoral votes regardless of population).

Ok? Thanks for agreeing with me I guess?

It would appear Oklahoma is the only state that went 100% red. Someone check me?

The Hawaii State Senate consists of 25 Democrats and zero Republicans.

That state has been too far gone for years now.

TrebleHook that's a great picture. Kind a looks like a fat tailed cat that took multiple shotgun blasts to the back and legs. Can you do a dinosaur?

The picture isn't of "land" any more than a map showing which states voted. What it represents is various counties, or smaller population centers, and who they voted for. The point is to show that support for democrats is primarily centered in urban areas, and since this country is diverse with different values and ways of life, perhaps we shouldn't focus on just the urbanites as evidence that "the country" doesn't support Trump when talking about the popular vote.

But to the urbanites, the people who live in rural areas are backwards redneck white supremacists who's views and opinions need to be silenced. So to them, the country really doesn't support Trump, because to them the "country" are only those who live in urban centers.
