Don’t expect anything imminently.

On Friday Judge McAfee said he and the lawyers representing both sides would “reconvene at the end of next week” [i.e., this week] or “early the following week” [i.e., next week] to focus on several evidentiary arguments presented last week.

There’s been no indication those discussions will be televised.

"Presidents day" is not a thing (at least not officially). It is "Washington’s Birthday" (observed).

No your bio says you’re in Illinois. You observe Lincoln’s birthday not Presidents’ Day.

My office building is full as normal. Wonder why not many are off today.

Maybe they're giving the media a week to explain to us how she's getting off the hook.

I think the key is over "the appearance of impropriety in Georgia law".

I've read in several places that both of them could be removed due to the appearance of impropriety, which seems to be irrefutable.

But I recently read a MSM article that Georgia law did not provide for removal over merely the appearance of impropriety.

I’m sure the judge can take a very “novel” approach to interpreting that law.

It would be very appropriate here.

No, they are two different things. Lincoln's birthday is Feb 12th, Washington's Birthday (observed) is the 3rd Monday in Feb (but is actually Feb 22nd).

'Presidents' day is just informal, there is no official basis for it.
