If your parents rob a bank and then give you part of the money do you get to keep it?

Being here without status is not a crime.

Apples and oranges.

Yes it is!

Improper entry(those that cross the border)
Under federal criminal law, it is misdemeanor for an alien to do the following...
•Enter or attempt to enter the United States at any time or place other than designated by immigration officers;
•Elude examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
•Attempt to enter or obtain entry to the United States by willfully concealing, falsifying, or misrepresenting material facts.

Violators are subject to a $250 fine and up to 6 months in jail for each offense.
Followed by Deportation.

The only Undocumented Alien who hasn't committed a crime is someone who has overstayed their Visa.

They are subject to deportation.

So drop your silly leftist talking points.

Thus, many of the Dreamers are white. How then is their removal racist? Is the DACA rescission racist if it affects whites and non-whites the same? Or is it racist because it affects many non-whites?

Progs are well trained to call anything they don't like "hate speech" or "racists" or some other phobia or ism.

Literally all they have since they can't argue on facts or knowledge.

That's why.

Point conceded. I still think the Dreamers who accepted the deal Obama gave them deserve to stay.

Obama offered an illegal and unconstitutional deal to the Dreamers. We should not go back on it to those who accepted IMO.

FIFY

So, when the cops bust a drug deal, they should only arrest the sellers, not the buyers?

The best analogy was made by someone last night. If Pedro and his family break into your house while you are on vacation and are there when you get back, are the cops only going to remove Pedro and leave the kids? Are the kids entitled to stay in your house even if you don't want them there because Pedro brought them there through no fault of their own?

The ones who accepted the deal are NOT affected by DACA being Rescinded.

They have DACA work authorization for a 2 year period.
When their 2 year period is up then their DACA status would have had to be renewed.

They got exactly what they signed up for already!

No one told Pedro's kids they could stay.

Obama told the Dreamers they could. We should not renege on that deal.

Therein lies the problem. One man unilaterally dictated our immigration policy, not congress.

"When their 2 year period is up then their DACA status would have had to be renewed. "

Not part of the original deal. Changing the deal after it's done.

This is called Detrimental Reliance under the law, which is an equitable doctrine. The Dreamers believed, not being constitutional scholars, that Obama, as President, had the Authority to make the DACA deal, and no one got a court order declaring the DACA executive order unconstitutional.

The Dreamers, under equitable principles, thus should not incur detriment because they relied on Obama's apparent authority.

You need to read the DACA because it absolutely is what DACA is and was...

It was always a 2 year renewable work permit.

Oh I love this leap of logic.

Jesus H.

So if I break the law can I just declare myself someone who is not a constitutional scholar and get away with it.

This reminds me of Hillary's "intent" defense.

This is so ridiculous. Seriously. No wonder why we are raising idiots in this country. If they don't know laws, history, or the Constitution, we can do anything because our ignorance "allowed" it!

So they should be able to circumvent immigration laws because Obama told them, by himself, that it was ok?

If that's the case then we've got some serious issues in this country.

Seriously.

These Progressives are really bending over backwards now to circumvent every possible avenue we have to law and order in this country in order to get their power back.

This is amazing to watch. Not to mention shite like this where they can justify illegal actions.

So if Charles Manson holds some political clout, his followers can go and kill people bc they believed him as a high ranking politician.

This is literally becoming a cult.

If it only applied to immigrants that entered the country illegally from Mexico and were Mexican you might have something to stand on. However, this applies to anyone, irrespective of race, that immigrants to this country illegally.

To me, this is more of an issue of how EO's are just being abused. This shite needs to go through congress.
