Is the PT #1 enemy Taxes?

It doesnt matter who is in charge, seems like taxes go up anyways. if it doesnt go to welfare, it goes to missiles, if it doesnt go to infrastructure, it goes to corporations.
Year after year on 4/15 I have to tell my family that we cant afford a vacation this year.

I'm not opposed to taxes as a general matter, but our current tax code is a monstrosity and needs to be completely scrapped and rewritten.

Can anyone find where it says that you "must" pay income taxes in the tax code? Last I checked it had the word "voluntary".
