If not, why was campaigning in Iowa a full 2 1/2 years before the 2020 primaries?

He's not going to run for re-election. He's doing rallys because he has a fragile ego that requires constant affirmation.

I seriously doubt that he'll run for reelection. He's a 71 year old obese man now. He'll be 74 then, and we've seen the toll that being President takes on much younger men like Clinton, Dubya and Obama.

I'm not even convinced he will run again.

I would like to see the Vegas odds on this - I would think they are pointed to him not running again.

I think there is 0 chance he does. He's smart enough to know that he will lose if his approval stays in the 30s. He hates the job and hates losing even more. He'll claim moral victories on some issues and blame democrats for not getting more done and then he'll head back to New York.

Are our Tigers "scared" of losing to OSU on Friday?

He is already running for reelection. He filed for reelection immediately after taking office.

No, he's constantly petrified that his presidency is not seen as legitimate. So he needs these campaign-style rallies to boost his ego.

That doesn't mean that he'll run. I don't think that there's an obligation to run just because you've filed. The man and old and fat. He's going to be even older when it comes time for reelection and the presidency wears people down.

Why would he not want to go back to his life of luxury for his remaining years rather than stay in Washington.

Because he needs to feel good about himself. Be fair, we want our President to have a healthy self esteem.

How could his presidency not be legit? People that say this are sheep being led by the MSM eating up every word they say. It's laughable to think he's not a legitimate president.

The week of the election, Trump's Gallup favorables were 35%. LINK.

I wouldn't put too much stock in approval polls.
