That doesn't mean Sharia is right around the corner. It doesn't mean that one has to stick their head in the sand as to the threat of Sharia to Western ideals, either.
Thats been going on, lots of people ignore it including Muslims.

I have a friend who is a legal immigrant from India, cool dude, Steelers fan (for some reason). He told me the other day that the Hindus/Hindi (?) don't frick around with Muslims. Like, for real, no quarter given, they don't allow any type of Radical propaganda.
Don't know how true that is.

Yes that is true but in context its still not a Muslim country and lots non muslim indians move to the UK.

The UK Border Agents are a lot more ruthless than ours in the US.
People who overstay their visa are hunted down.
The extreme Muslim population is just a small but very vocal minority. The rest are no different than the ones in the states who live their lives and enjoy the western way of life.
People here are much more concerned about the wave of slavic eastern europeans than people from sw asia.

If you don't believe that number can be a loud minority which can effectively change policy and culture, consider that 12% of Americans are black.

They are not changing shite, Britons are more stubborn in their ways and traditions than you can believe. Like I said there is a small vocal minority of the muslim population but most don't pay them any attention. Most Muslims are no different than the ones living in America.
Im sure a majority of this board did not live in areas with a high muslim population so their views or lack of knowledge about them could be different. Growing up in an area with plenty of Muslims I don't have these misconceived notions about them.

I'm also sure that if Evangelical Christians formed modesty squads in urban areas in the US and harassed people who did not comply that it would and should make the news.

Yes, you got the % right for London. They make up less than 3% of the UK pop. Can you link up the "roving groups" comment?
