Really makes you think.

OK, let’s assume that 90% of the crimes listed by the GAO (other than immigration itself) were committed by SCAAP persons in state and local institutions. That would mean illegal aliens committed 22,558 murders over four years. That is a rate of 5,639 per year, or over 15 per day. (For reference, Rep. Steve King reported a figure of 12 per day. A sheriffs’ association is reported to estimate it at 25 per day. I don’t know how reliable these values are, but they are not totally out of line with the GAO’s data.)
That would give a murder rate for illegal aliens of 52 per 100,000 (5,639 in a population of 10.8 million) – about 10 times that of U.S. citizens.
Here are the numbers of crimes per day committed by illegal aliens in just a few crime categories, based on those GAO numbers and the 90% figure for SCAAP persons over four years.
Kidnappings: 9
Murders: 15
Sex offenses: 43
Burglaries: 71
Assaults: 131

Hope people dont really think this is apples to apples. Did they sample people of similar demographics? Location? Income? Education?
Or we just saying your illegal and therefore 10x

It looks like the article is saying illegal aliens verse citizens....so it is apples to apples. The location, income, education etc has nothing to do with the subject. It is illegal aliens verses citizens and the rate each set of people commit the crime.
Am I missing something?

Fun fact:
100% of illegals have already committed a crime.
100% of illegals have already committed a crime.

Over a third of homicides go unsolved in the United States (so about 5,000).
Police fail to make an arrest in more than a third of the nation’s killings
So that means of the 10,000 solved homicides in a given year, half of then can be attributed to illegal immigrants?
2013 FBI Homicide Statistics
And the demographic data suggest indicate that 47% of offenders are black, and 23% are Hispanic.
So given that we know a good portion of the illegal immigrants are Hispanic, and not many are black, then the article really doesn't make sense.

Not apples to apples. Illegals range in income location etc. You cant compare a 1% illegal to a 99th percentile illegal

Actually I looking at the GAO study, they were estimating the number of indivduals in the prison population by offense. It's not a homicide totals and rate like the FBI reports.
Someone could be on prison for murder 30 years ago, and be counted on those data. It appears to be complete misrepresentation.
