According to a CBS News source, Attkisson felt that she was being kept off “The CBS Evening News” because of political considerations. In recent years, she has gone heavy on stories that cast the Obama administration in a bad light, including the failures of the Obamacare Web site, Benghazi and the “Operation Fast and Furious” gun interdiction program. Though much of Attkisson’s work on such stories failed to make the cut on “CBS Evening News,” it did surface on CBSNews.com, where Attkisson’s byline archive stands as something of a monument to her discontent as a TV reporter.

Well... Didn't she realize CBS was doing her a favor and saving her career by sitting on her reports?

No room for honest reporting anymore in broadcast news.

Could be an absolute godsend for CNN though.
If that network actually wants to return to quality reporting, they'll hire her back immediately.

And if Obama came back tomorrow and said the following:
- the ACA is a disaster and I'm sorry so I'm issuing an EO to roll it back
- Fast and Furious was a bad idea. Sorry.
- I'm sorry I used the IRS to silence people
- We are in a post racial world and there is no longer a need for affirmative action
- I'm actually not an american Citizen so I'm issuing an EO to make Ron Paul president.

Because that's about the same probability as Jeff Zucker hiring Sharyl Atkisson.....

Lara Logan might not be too far behind.

After her forced leave of absence from CBS last fall over her Benghazi-piece debacle, CBS said in December she would be reinstated soon. Said it again in January. Crickets ever since. Until three days ago, when she was sudden and inexplicably replaced by Lesley Stahl for a Guilford College (NC) lecture with Steve Kroft of "60 Minutes".

Those are two solid reporters the Continual BS network is shedding. The Lara Logan treatment was absolutely pathetic.

True.

Logan was CBS News' Chief Foreign Correspondent from 2006-2012 and a world class combat correspondent. She fell out of favor at CBS after her reports on being sexually assaulted in Cairo were seen by some in the Administration (Valerie, are you listening?) as a distraction and a black mark on the Arab Spring "victories". She screwed up badly on that Benghazi report but methinks in the long run, the powers that be at CBS shed no tears over her being discredited. They knew "60 Minutes" would quickly bounce back from the story, and that suspending Logan and her producer shifted the blame away from themselves. As a bonus, the MSM treated Logan's botched story as additional proof that there was no real story in Benghazi, just as they had with the Jonathan Karl story in May and the NYT's story a couple of months ago.

CBS and the rest of the MSM either have no idea or they are being compliant as a mouth piece for a particular slant of politics. It's pathetic.

Hope Fox grabs Atkisson and Logan and and they're able to keep things at Fox honest and not go overboard.

I hope that she will join the Fox or Beck reporting sites, I think she has a good amount of piranha in her.

She's a world class journalist with proven integrity, not a chance in the world she would join up with Beck's organization.

She has a milf quality to her so it would be nice to see her back on tv, but CBS will have no trouble finding a hot woman to be on the news. I mean FOX has perfected it.

That sounds awfully sexist for an enlightened pinko.
