Don't spend taxpayer money on stupid shite. Spend less money than tax income. Keep the federal government out of people's lives. Shrink the federal government. Shrink the welfare state.

Election system reform to make it completely transparent and auditable. Voting suspended for those on government assistance.

Roll back the police state, tax system reform, shrink fedgov.

For never Trumpers, it’s simply who the hell cares - just go with the opposite of whatever Trump’s position on any given topic is.

Nuclear family, respect for others, respect for society.

That’s really all I want. Respect everyone and be free to live your life.

Conservative and Liberal Values : it's spending our way out of a deficit.

Never works for me personally, but both parties in government think it can be done.

Anything the democrats hate! You know, like the flag, individualism, the Bill of Rights, a closed border, family, babies, July 4th, etc.

Exactly! And these young conservatives worried about Unions to protect them from companies! They better wake up or should I say “get woke”!

Pro-capitalism, limited federal government, lower taxes.

Of course all of the above are dog whistles for white supremacy.

Also being selfish and greedy. That’s an actual characteristic of today’s self-identifying “conservative,” quite unfortunately. “Check all MY boxes and satisfy each of MY “principled demands” or else……

**I hate to add negative comments to an otherwise healthy discussion, but it’s an ugly truth that needs to be acknowledged and addressed. Acknowledged and addressed introspectively.

That may be true for Never Trumpers. The idiots are always at the extremes of Trump.

Pro life, protect Second Amendment rights, secure the border, deport all illegals, lower taxes, reduce government spending, seek energy independence, get rid of excessive government regulations.

Of course. There are extremes at the far ends of just about everything, I’d imagine. I think where it becomes “transgressive” is in the act of insisting that the extreme is representative of the entire thing.

I started out as a Reagan Republican. Voted for him twice. Worshiped him. Voted for Bush Sr. Voted for Bob Dole. Bush Jr. Twice.

To me a conservative was.

Low taxes
Strong military
Patriotism
World Policeman for Freedom and THE AMERICAN WAY

Free trade.

I changed the night I saw Ron Paul debate the GOP candidates in 2008.

He was a whining little truth teller who was so clearly marginalized and disrespected by all the others that initially I discounted him as fringe.

But then he taught me that our country is corrupt and dangerous.

I didn't vote in 2008 or 2012.

In 16 I voted for Trump. Because he told the truth like Ron had.

I won't go into all the policy but just a couple of observations.

We spend way way way to much on defense. I'm more aligned with Kennedy on This. We kill way too many people and we get involved in too much.

Cut defense.

We spend way too much on social programs. Mostly wasted. I'm a Ron Paul on This.

Cut Social Spending

I used to think that free trade was the best thing since sliced bread. So what if the chinaman assembling my iPhone makes 2:50 an hour and there are suicide nets in their factories. You always minimize costs.

But now with our Wal Mart/Amazon, fast food, information economy ... I think deindustrialization was insane.

We only make weapons.

Fair trade means your competitors pay a living wage (With Trump on This one)

I hate the Fed. (Dr. Paul on this one)

I trust Putin more than Schummer, Pelosi, Biden or McConnel (not sure anyone else believes this).

I don't like the FBI, CIA, NSA or Pentagon. I believe they all think we are wasted breath.

I don't trust the Police or the military. Both will turn on me if given the order.

The Border should be sealed. Further, we need to prioritize Europeans for immigration.

So I'll vote 1) Trump, 2) Vivek... and if neither of them get it then the candidate must be 100% anti Ukranian War... or I go Kennedy

And yes Kennedy is a green new deal wacko but no more dangerous than any republican not mentioned above

One last think. Bring back the antitrust laws. Mega Business conspiring with govt equals fascism. Sometimes they are just too big not to be dangerous

And Bill of Rights no compromises.
