How come I don't get to own my own private island and jet? Why do I have to pay so much just to have a plain home and cabin in the mountains?

Historically it has provided incentive to better ones self. The war on poverty has damaged that incentive.

As a result we have a growing, dependent underclass outbreeding producers.

Guess your convictions have their limits. What amount are you willing to go down to to ensure others don't starve? How did you come to that number?
you know, i haven't thought that deeply about it. I just know as a single guy with no kids and a good job i can easily afford to help people. if you don't want to, that's cool. don't care how people spend their money outside taxes.

Are you stupid? Where do you think having the opinion that it's perfectly ok for the government to confiscate 90% of a person's earnings and give it to others falls?
holy shite you're dense. again, i said it was once there, i didn't advocate for it again, just mocked people who wish for the "good ole days" except for the shite they don't like like paying taxes

Awww... What a good virtue signaler you are.

But we both know you aren’t interested in giving more of your own money. You could do that now. This is about taking other people’s money.

You think taxes are the only (or even the best) way to help people in need?

I'm just enjoying the fact he calls himself a libertarian while advocating the government confiscate 90% of someone's income.

Charity is done by giving. Taxation isn't charity.

Taxation supports mansions along the beltway

No, you are you stupid frick. You said that someone who made 20 million should only be allowed to keep 2 million. That's a 90% tax you idiot.

i said i wouldn't feel bad for them. maybe you should take a break from the internet for a little while. maybe take a walk and look at the flowers?

You know it's ok to admit you're wrong. Just like it's ok to admit you're not a libertarian.

Except you want to compel others via taxes. You play the emoti Nap "people are starving" card to justify favoring other people paying more...however, your convictions have their limits. I'm guessing you won't sacrifice much personally for them. Others can take that burden for you. Sure feels good to be for the little guy with no food, though. Amirite?
