I guarantee you that Sean Hannity is giving people his honest views, regardless of whether or not you like what he has to say.

My take on Hannity is, first and foremost, he is trying to convince every single person watching his show that the position he is taking is absolutely correct.

Secondly, he will say absolutely anything if he thinks it will help him convince you.

He is one of the most deceptive people on tv. And he worst part is that he doesn't even care if you know it. He's happy just getting the ones who can't figure it out.

Not by me. Politically, he's just fine by me. I don't like the way he will talk over his guest. I have come to believe he has a lot of material he needs to cover, thus the reason for talking over them. Other than that, I'm a fan.

That is because he is confirming your viewpoint and position on most topics, most reasonable folks think he is a loon and don't need to have their opinions formed for them by others.

Actually, I agree with you on this. Right after the women's march in January, a lady who had been a life-long Democrat called in to his radio show to talk about how disturbed she was regarding what she had seen at that march, and how she and several women she knew were leaving the Democrat Party because of it.

But as soon as she started to go into more detail, he interrupted her! I was pissed! He's actually aware that he does that, but I think it's second nature to him. Newt Gingrich will actually tell him, "My turn. Let me talk now."

But, nobody's perfect. I got burned out on O'Reilly. Not because he wasn't a good host, though, but because his arrogance seemed to jump off the screen. I'd be willing to watch him in a new format, though. Maybe he's learned to have a touch of humility.

I remember well the episode Sean stepped all over the lady you referenced.

O'Reilly, just got too surly for me.

Actually, he isnt.

Their both pompous jackasses, the difference is that Hannity is fricking dense in addition to being an arrogant a-hole- Olbermann is closer to O'Reilly- smart but not as smart as he thinks he is- just like Bill.

I think he is more fair than those who claim to be journalists. He is very clear about his conservative viewpoint, and does not claim to be a straight news show.

I'm on his side. But I can't stand his style. He annoys the crap out of me and always has.

A couple of years ago I was pretty negative on Sean, but you are correct.

He has simplified things and stuck more with core principles than trying to be wishy-washy, and this has been a big improvement.

Maybe his style was off-putting to some, but I'm telling you that his show has become the best hour on television. For example, tonight he's already weighed in on the attempted boycott against him, Hillary's incessant whining about the election result, and the subpoenas of Susan Rice, John Brennan, etc.

Will have VP Pence on shortly. Like I said, it's the best hour of television right now.

The Leftists despise him because they can't hang any shite on him to get him fired. Can you imagine the frustration the Prog/Dims have to deal with knowing the man is a decent, moral, Godly man and they can't figure out how to bring him down....., yet!

This equivilance is laughable...KO is a ridiculous snarling human that can't talk content or issue...
I watched him for a week straight a couple years ago...just horrible...

Hannity is more like a 1-sided debater. He hammers a few points on an issue, then moves to the next.

That's a point that I think some people misunderstand. He's a talk show host/opinion guy. He's never been used by Fox to host a political convention or for election night coverage.

George Stephanopoulos is just as partisan as Sean, but he's propped up as the face of ABC News. He hosts conventions and election night coverage, and is considered to be a hard news journalist. But even though he's much more subtle about it, because he's trying to hide it, Stephanopoulos is eve ry bit as partisan as Hannity. The difference? One is honest about his role, and the other one is a liar.

Actually, the word is that Hannity is one of the best-liked people in his business. Liked by conservatives and liberals alike. I think you're right. Soros/Brooks/Media Matters picked on the wrong guy.
