If you are opposed to monuments being torn down, are you NEO NAZI or a White Supremacist?

If its possible, then what Trump said is accurate. There were people protesting the removal of the statue who were NOT "Nazis" or "White Supremacists"
Just like there were counter protesters that werent violent anarchists.

Meh. I'm opposed to blind ignorance. I'm opposed to destruction for destruction's sake. The Confederacy was the right thing for the wrong reason.
There are lessons to be learned, but no one is interested in that. Neither side wants to learn. Both sides want to win. Any victory will by Pyrrhic.

I like history. I still watch history documentaries all the time. I just finished watching a series on Hitler on the Newsmax TV channel. I didn't realize that when the war was winding down Hitler ordered his generals to blow up all the nice historic stuff.

Were there regular people in Charlottesville simply protesting the removal of the statues?
If you were such a regular person and you found yourself marching around with guys carrying torches chanting "Jews will not replace us!" do you keep hanging in with them or do you just walk away?
From what I've seen of charlottesville it was a straight up white supremacist rally v counter protesters who from my POV involved some antifa and then just a bunch of regular people that didn't want white supremacists in their town.
