Fake news outlets won't allow any narrative to take hold in which Trump is deemed "successful"

If it's not broke why try to fix it.

I would settle for "successful" people, instead of the hand picked puppet of either party.

Hope we learned our lesson electing a leftist "community organizer".

Wanted to "transform" the country, the way we talk, our customs/history, the way we think, etc. Moochelle's words.

I've always liked the idea of electing men and women who actually know how to do things to public office. Engineers, carpenters, pipefitters, etc. would all get my consideration before hot air producing politicians.

I doubt if half the men in the senate could change a flat tire.

Trump was lightning in a bottle. Regardless of success, I don't see some major trend shift happening. Who's going to have have the same level of name recognition, charisma, and willingness to run that can capture the middle class again??

Charisma?

I'm not sure I'd use that word, but his refusal to back down from speaking the politically incorrect TRUTH got him elected. Not sure if anyone will ever have that boldness again.

Well, we now have a guy that is already showing actual dictator tendencies by having thin skin and publicly calling out people that make fun of him or show him any disrespect. The next 4-8 years are going to be an interesting ride.

I've always thought that those with business Davy would make the better president.

Regardless of the results of his presidency, expect both parties to tweak the rules of their primaries to explicitly prevent anyone like him from ever winning again.

The parties pretty much exist to enrich themselves and they fricking hate it when some a-hole comes in and shows everyone exactly how they are screwing up.

Why do you assume only 4 years? If I were you, considering all the winning Trump is experiencing as just President Elect, I would prepare for 8 years...

Can you even read frickstick? I said 4-8. I don't think people really understand how far off the rails Trump potentially could take this bitch.

Two most important things for Pres are economy and national security. I have always said president should be expert in one of them, so rather a businessman or former military guy is my preference.

I would think so. If the economy improves significantly under Trump, then I think it will open the way for my business minded candidates like Trump and Romney and more voters seriously considering them as viable options.
