It is an uphill battle but it is the only path we have.

Most Dems would vote for anyone running as a Dem who isn’t Joe Biden. So I think they could change their candidate at the latest possible moment that’s legal and still win.

They either have a bench capable of winning but they refuse to run because Biden fricked so badly

OR

They have no one and are rolling Biden back out

That means a loss either way and that they are gift wrapping Trump a second term where he doesn’t have to worry about reelection and he has already learned that playing nice with the Dems and bureaucrats is a losing battle.

They may try to salt the earth before Trump wins but I see a lot of shite getting turned over quick and a lot of shills getting tossed if they try to block it.

Exactly. Even communist can't paint this turd into anything good. They will go all in on blocking as much as Trump's agenda as possible the next 2 years.

From a Republican perspective - they need to invest in the (potential) good will of non-white voters coming to our side. They need more candidates running and flipping urban areas. While it appears we are finally making strides in that area, it could all be wiped out easily if Trump gets elected and we act like the Dems after 2022 and think we are in power forever.

The first thing that comes to mind is reducing the amount of time that their change of batter candidate has to face opposition research, attack ads, etc.

I maintain that Michelle Obama is their Aug/Sep "solution" - parachuted in at the last minute, and covered in a litany of flattering Vanity Fair and Vogue articles which have worked overtime to establish that she "doesn't have any Presidential aspirations, but is willing to serve to better her country."
