If I'm Trump, I'd just ignore the ruling and continue on as originally planned

You have control of Congress, you have a majority of the people in support of this immigration halt, and you have the U.S. Code 1182 on your side. Pull an Andrew Jackson and tell the state of Washington and the 9th Circuit to try and stop him from upholding his duties to the American people to protect them from potential national security threats.

Trump said the executive order was for 90 day halt in order to install tougher screening measures. Will 90 days not be over when supreme court gets it? If so, why even go to the supreme court?

Does it not? What enforcement power does the 9th Circuit have over the Executive Branch? Is it not the Executive Branch that enforces the decisions of the courts? This ruling by the 9th Circuit is clearly political in nature. Trump could use that and basically tell them to pound sand, and that he's going through with his immigration ban anyway.
