Somebody just posted an article the other day from the Washington Post about which race was killed more by police and whites were killed more than blacks and unarmed whites were killed more than unarmed blacks

Proportionally however,greater % of aa than % of white were killed by police.
Aa killed out of proportion.
250% more. 2.5 x.
Thats the point of the protests.

Exactly. Blacks make up 13% of the population, but 26% of all police shootings. So they are way more likely to be shot, per capita, than other Americans. Whites, conversely, make up 63% of the population, but only 54% of police shootings. Meaning they are, relatively, much less likely to be shot.
Simply stating the absolute numbers is meaningless. It should be expected that whites are going to be shot, in absolute values, more than blacks; they are a substantially larger percentage of the population. But, comparatively, it's much, much more likely that an individual black American will be shot than an individual white American.

Unless I am retarded and misread the article also says that it means blacks commit more of the crimes than whites do per capita
