This feels like a trap. Urban guerrilla warfare is already the worst warfare there is, but I worry that Hamas has something very troubling in mind. We already know that Hamas has been planning this event since 2021 without Israel’s knowledge, so what else could be planned?

How is that even possible? Some of you bitch about 90,000 people slow in traffic out of an LSU game, now do that times 10. The difference being you have a home to go to, they are going to nowhere. You know exactly where these people will be relocated, Europe or the US.

I’m fine with this.
They were told to leave, there are legit military targets there, and Israel’s going to bomb the everliving frick out of them with bunker busters.
I’m more concerned with the infrastructure than Hamas at this point. Seems like they blow up the leader of one of these groups every other week.

They think they have trapped and killed a lot of Hamas in those damn terror tunnels. They have been using bunker bombs on suspected tunnels and entrances.
I hope there are thousands of Hamas trapped under ground. It is a fitting death.

It isn’t an Israel thing.
A huge chunk of Palis including Arafat and the PLO got chased out of Jordan in the 60s for trying to overthrow the king.
Similar problems happened in Egypt when Palis were there for any length of time.
It’s like having perpetual Katrina refugees.

I am just glad the Israelis have their Namer infantry vehicle instead of the Bradley's and Stykers.
The Namer is one bad arse troop carrier built on old Merkava tank chassis.
It is a LOT more survivable than the Bradley's.

The bombing campaign should be at least 2-3 weeks. I'd want that target soft AF before rolling in on foot.

I personally think that Israel will clear northern Gaza, then allow them to move back north thru Israeli lines, administering bomb dogs and gunshot residue tests to every single one of them, and taking into custody anyone who fails either test.
