The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is the North Korean government. It is not a democracy or republic. Much like the Nazi party was not socialist.

I'm neither one. But I know blatant attempts at suppression of freedom of speech when I see it. And I've seen it multiple times by the same groups over this past year or so.
I haven't seen it go the other way at all.
So one group supports and defends freedom of speech and one doesn't.

The nazis were an authoritarian socialist movement who moved to usurp private production and many industries. They were actually closer to communists. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

My grandfather fought in WWII and was a southern conservative.
He believed in all of our freedoms, but if he saw somebody with a swastika protesting he would have probably hurt or attacked them.
We have many freedoms, but what you are protesting is not always right. If you are protesting with hate you should expect some type of counter protest.

I asked myself that question, and had an epiphany!
I'm going to join antifa and suppress my fellow citizens rights to free speech and assembly! I'm going to join BLM and advocate cop killing, "pigs in a blanket fry them like bacon!" I'm going to join the occupy movement and get free shite because I'm entitled! I'm going to become an environmentalist and camp out for free protesting possible pollution of pipelines while leaving tons of real pollution behind to have someone else pick it up! I might become a university diversity officer so I can ban all those overachieving oriental mother frickers. I think I will become a DNC politician where I can become a millionaire being elected to low paying public service jobs, and start a tax free foundation that pays for all my wants and needs.
I'm no longer going to be a deplorable in name. I'm going to be a deplorable in fact!

One man's hate is another man's passion. Counter protests are right and normal. What we have seen in the last year or so are not counter protests. They have been overt attempts to silence opposing views.
Your grandfather fought for any a-hole to have the freedom to say whatever is on his mind without fear of harm.
