The last thing I want is another bad bill involving health care. It might have had some good things in it, but it was being constructed on a poor foundation. My biggest issue was doing it in 3 phases. As a developer, I'm sure this appealed to Trump's background, but when you are dealing with professional politicians, this is a terrible strategy. There was zero guarantee to the no vote repubs that phases 2 and 3 would ever happen, something I don't think Trump ever took into consideration. I honestly hope he learns his lesson with this defeat. You can't put the most sought after reforms in future legislation in exchange for going along with a bill that no one is happy with. The no vote repubs understood this, Trump didnt.

This shite (obamacare) is still on the dems regardless what the GOP did or did not do. GOP needs to get their shite together for the next run when this collapses.

I am glad it failed. It didn't address the core issues. We are past the point where we do things incrementaly and expect things to work.

It's garbage. We don't have a legit health insurance in this country. Spending a sizable percentage of your income on insurance that doesn't cover you until you spend another large sum on your deductible is not legitimate insurance. It's legal theft.

Don't pass shite. Should be easy to understand. Some think passing a bill is more important than getting it right.

Trump still has his presidential training wheels on. He put a deadline to force the issue. He lost the PR game when Rand Paul did not blink.

What I think is going to happen is they are going to work behind the scenes to find a resolution.

Also, the Republicans need to continually remind the public about how the MSM are not giving fair coverage.

I'm not. It was Trumps first real loss since become president and it was handed to him by his very own fricking party. Republicans look weak, ineffectual and incompetent thanks to GOP leadership. Seven years to come up with a solution only to offer up a shite sandwich and begging Trump to take a bite. Ryan should lose his spot as Speaker of the house immediately.

Its so refreshing to see losers admitting they are ok with losing.

The gop had seven years, the house, the senate and the presidency and said this was the biggest problem in America and they gave America....crickets.

And it's awesome. Obama care sucks, leave that legacy with Obama.

Trump dodged one here
