It’s #ADayWithoutAWoman, yet feminists are more active than ever on Twitter. It’s quite perplexing. Weren’t they supposed to– I don’t know– disappear? Shouldn’t they be busy not making sandwiches?
Speaking of food– yeah, no. I can’t do this. I have no way to properly introduce this, so I’m just going to say it. There’s a photo floating around of what is purportedly a menstrual blood pancake.

It's apparently something more popular in finland. Not really in the states. This picture was from 2015. So the article is linking pictures about cooking from 2015 and then talking about how women are in the kitchen today. Solid journalism.

Back in 1978 I visited an art exhibit at the U of Alabama while killing time during a weekend conference. The display was not paintings but objects by an artist named Ed Flesh.
He took a pig's foot and placed it in a baby shoe and put it in a sprung bear trap with blood stains. The title "Baby steps in the bear trap."
I was intrigued. Then I saw 3 ziplock plastic bags hanging in a frame. One had some ground meat labeled "Cow Flesh." Another had some raw wings 'Chicken Flesh." The third was filled with red menstrual blood and labeled "Mrs. Ed Flesh."
