My Facebook page is blowing up with liberals complaining that republicans still don't want tougher gun control. They don't realize that it's possible to remain level-headed in tragedy.

Why aren't they complaining about less melts and divisive rhetoric in their media?

This guy was a Russian conspiracy nut job and clearly believed every progressive blog out there judging from his social media posts.

They don't understand because they aren't using their brains. They are emoting because they are ruled by their emotions.

Regardless of your "side", someone who is already prone to violence and buys into a divisive rhetoric and conspiracy theories is a potential ticking time bomb.

You see it with this shooter, the Comet pizza shooter, and many others who have become unhinged.

Fortunately, as far as I know TX Tiger only meets the conspiracy theory portion of this formula.

Guns prevented innocent people from dying today. Why would today make us want restrictions on guns?

The guy went through an awful lot of planning.

Pretty sure guns laws weren't going to deter him

But evidently not much time at the practice range, which leads me to believe it was somewhat impulsive, some aspect be it time, local or whatever

Guns stopped this situation from being far worse.

Actually, according to police reports, he was told to stop shooting in the woods behind his house, due to complaints
