I know, it's hard to feel sorry for a billionaire and all that - Putting all that aside...

I don't think he realized what it takes to win something like this. What I mean by this, I don't think he had the infrastructure (technology, data, etc) that's needed to compete in something like last night.

You have to admit that this kid busted his arse and gave everything he possibly could into his campaign.

He visited every single county TWICE, he was on every news show, YT Podcast Show, Radio Show, etc etc etc

He did it all with his OWN money. Probably peanuts for him, but still.

I truly think deep down he thought he was going to shock the world because of the effort and footwork he put into this thing.

Without real, legit updated data / ground game that is needed to compete in something like last night, I think he felt that judging from people attending his events, etc that he truly had a shot at shocking the world.

I think the dude is for real. I have watched a LOT of his townhalls, etc and I really think he has a bright future.

One thing Trump does not like is people making money or gaining off HIS brand. Vivek was doing just that in a positive way but he made a colossal mistake at the 11th hour with the Free Trump BS. Trump had to step in and say something about that. I think he crossed the line and Trump called him out on it and it destroyed ALL momentum he had going into the Caucus vote.

You can't poke the bear like that or he will eat you alive - and Trump did eat him alive with just a simple Tweet (TRUTH) bomb that instantly ended his campaign.

I don't care how you look at it - Trump is a fricking boss when it comes to taking people out.

You're assuming he was trying to win.

He wasn't.

Vivek wasn’t running for 2024. He’s running for 2028.

DeSantis should have taken a page from Viveks camp.

He got the name ID he needed, he courted the MAGA vote, he will dominate in 2028.

DeSantis will be an attorney that hasn’t practiced law in 15 years in 2028.

Sucks to suck and get owned by political consultants

Vivek coming out of nowhere a few months ago and pulling nearly 8% is impressive

I like the guy.

The Trump voters are going Trump in this election. But In 2028 Trump voters will be looking for a non-establishment guy who is not afraid to stand up to the media.

And Vivek will get a good shot at being that guy. I did not know who he was a year ago. Vivek has put himself in solid position to make noise in 2028.

I think he was trying to be 2nd place. I think he thought he was going to be 2nd place. I think he really wanted 2nd place. I think he really thought (deep down in his heart) he was going to shock the world by beating Nikki and Ronnie

Trump showed him that Trump is the OG Godfather, and Vivek learned the hard way that he was a rookie, inexperienced kid trying to shock the world.

Y’all trying to say he backed Trump… TOO MUCH?

Because I thought y’all wanted everyone to drop out of primaries if Trump was removed… that y’all wanted everyone to forget it was competition and there were winners and losers

One post on Truth couldn’t end Vivek’s campaign if no one could even see it lol

I don't know much about who Vivek had running his campaign, but, if Ron had them I have no doubt his campaign would have gone smoother.

You're not even making sense. If he was trying for 2nd he should be wondering why he lost to DeSantis or Haley, not Trump.

My guess is that he was going for exposure and a brand build, and he got that.

I seriously said to myself the other day that Vivek would be an amazing replacement for Rush.

We still do not have a True Rush replacement. Many are trying to be, but they haven't come close.

I am making clear sense. He was riding Trump's coat tails and Trump allowed him to until he made the colossal mistake at the end. TRUMP attacking him for what he did at the end turned a lot of people off Vivek so they ended up voting for Trump because Trump showed the world that he has brass balls and you don't frick with Trump

People want someone with brass balls in the white house who does not care if he hurts peoples feelings or not.

Vivek won bigly.

He did more than he set out to do.

I think he means if he got second, it would have been closer to Trump. 30 points above the field, as Trump did, is historic and needs to be respected.

Vivek is an amazing orator but his policies are what resonated. After his concession speech, he was talking to reporters about potentially joining Trump and he said he would not sacrifice his stances to do so. The main goal was always implementing his America First policies. I don't care who does that as long as those policies happen.

I think the honus is rather on Trump now and the ball is in Vivek's court. Vivek has pushed farther with his policies than Trump. If Trump brings Vivek on, it will come with his harsher policies. Match made in Heaven.

Vivek will also have to answer to his earlier position on how the left won't allow Trump to step foot in the White House. "How can you support a candidate you don't think will actually be allowed to step foot in the White House?"

I disagree. He is a very intelligent person and surely researched and sought out competent advice before beginning his campaign. My opinion is he knew this would be a beginning, introducing himself to the public and probably hoping to impress Trump enough to be offered a position in Trumps admin.

I’m thinking he’s playing the Long Game. He’ll be around the GOP top list for a long time.

If I understand you correctly you're claiming that Vivek was viable, I guess for 2nd place, until Trump talked about him last week on Truth Social? Are there any polling numbers that make this a remotely feasible theory?

DeSantis should have taken a page from Viveks camp.

The difference in the 2 is that RDS has values and has a history of implementing those values/policy choices as an actual governmental executive.

Vivek showed he has no values and will say anything to gain attention/popularity, and he has no track record in government to compare. All he has are his previous contradictory statements, which people dismiss.

he courted the MAGA vote,

For now. Odds are there will be another Kari Lake by 2028 and Vivek will be forgotten and thrown aside as he has been the past few days.

I've been busy preparing for this ice storm, but this 11th hour attack on Vivek says so much about MAGA/Patriots
