Me and the girlfriend did. We even got a voucher to pay our rent.

It really helped while while working 30 hours a week making minimum wage.

After I got my A.A.S. I got a job and lost the benefits. Since then I've been paying back in and taken care of myself.

That's the way it's supposed to work.

Welfare is not a way of life. I don't see how folks pride lets them live on welfare after their early to mid 20's.

Why was it my responsibility to help you get an education? I worked full time and went to school part time to get mine. Why couldn't you do the same?

It is supposed to help those in need, not those in want. I have no problem helping someone that is down, but when you are down for 30 years, it's time to suck it up and work.

What's pathetic is I ate better on food stamps. At one point I got 600 a month in food stamps. It was insane. Hard to eat that much even with kids.

I have a customer that gets 1,600 a month on her EBT. 400 she can take out as cash.

Can't tell if this is an elaborate troll or serious because if so that's pathetic.

I worked full time, went to school for my degree in engineering full time. Had no life, had a roommate to split costs, but graduated and now have a life I worked my arse off for and didn't take from tax payers (btw wtf did you do with your tax credits for going to school?...)

You should feel ashamed for that.

That is not what welfare is for. Not even remotely. You took advantage of a piss poor system to get the taxpayer to pay for your shite while you went to school. frick you you lazy scum.

You used the system and resources available to better yourself.

Nothing wrong with that .

Did you lie and say that you purchased and prepared your meals separately so that you could both have separate SNAP benefits?
