After reading about some of the crazy weird secretive stuff that Comus and Momus used to be up to,
and then watching True Detective season 1,
I find it very reasonable to think that some of those old line Mardi Gras krewes and their members were up to incredibly shady shite at the very least, and cultish murdualistic pedophilic human sacrifice at the very worst.
