The dope-heads would have never risen to power and would not now be in possession of some of the most powerful political offices.

Perhaps more impactfully, they would have never gotten away socially with raising the Entitlement Generation that is going to ensure this country continues to spiral down the drain.

In short, we would be a more Conservative, financially sound, God-fearing country where people are expected to take care of themselves.

As it is now, we are - for all intensive reasons - China-lite.

Da Faq? JFK was already POTUS with LBJ as VPOTUS. So the entitlement programs would probably still be there. If it wasn't for Vietnam we would have had LBJ in office until 1972.

The war on drugs may not have been necessary since alot of soldiers came back addicted to drugs and the anti-war protest were full of drugs. So maybe blacks wouldn't be as bad off since one of the major factors would have been minimized (the other being entitlement programs).

Plus like I said earlier Asia would become a Red Block and WW3 is inevitble.

War also provides the basis for most of our great scientific innovations. You think we would have the medical tech that we have today if it wasn't for the 20th century wars? How about the internet that we are posting on right now?

War

I guess we should thank communistic fears, the Gulf of Tonken lies, Hitler, and the bullet that got Archduke Ferdinand for all the miracles of the 20th Century.

If it weren't for the invasion of Afghanistan heroin wouldn't be nearly as cheap, so we've got that going for us!

and hundreds of other innovations that came from the war. Here are two links to videos of some of the innovations that have come from the war on terror. LINK LINK.

Also it was during WWI that bacteria was determined to be the reason why so many were dieing from infection and that lead to the discovery of antibiotics.

Not saying that war is good but it is not all bad.

Other than alot of Americans who would have lived, how would our lives be different than today?

Other than about 50k less in dead American parents, siblings, and children - and untold numbers of dead Vietnamese farmers - and missing some really decent hippie peace music - I don't think they're be much difference.

This character would not exist ... and that would really suck.
