This is THE reason I left the Democrat Party a few years ago and became a perm IND.

Go back to my posts from 04-06 when I tried to discuss issues here, and the older posters like VB, Rex, TigersLawyer, Tuba, Omega, etc, would always be more than happy to declare me an "idiot" or "racist" every time I brought up the point above....while being completely unaware that I was actually on their "team" the entire time.

This party is the same party that is more than happy to demand that I pay my "fair share", yet when I would complain about where my money went (close to 40% of my income), I would be called a racist if my beliefs were not in lock step with theirs.

You cannot operate that way and expect people to not be turned off. You cannot tell me you are "better", when you literally are stealing from me, then insulting me while you do it.

I don't work 60 hours a week to feed someone else's irresponsible lifestyle. Especially when I am expected to live within my means so I can pay 10s of thousands in taxes every year.
